The
majority of the 1969 colour photos [transparencies] were taken on
Kodachrome 25 [25 ASA/ ISO] The 1970 colour photos [transparencies]
were on Ektachrome [64 ASA /ISO ] and a few were on Ektachrome High
Speed [160 ASA / ISO] 35mm film. These films were processed in England.
The black and white negatives were largely on Kodak Plus X 35mm
or Tri X 35mm film. A few were on Ilford stock. Most of the black
and white were processed in the Falkland Islands using the darkroom
of local photographer John Lennard.
Cameras
used: Two Nikon F bodies.[ SLRs without light meters]. Lightmeters
were hand-held Westonmasters. Nikkor lenses were individual 28m
/ 50mm/ 105mm / 200mm for 35mm. A British made Microflex twin lens
reflex was used for 6 x 6 film.
