Lake Titicaca 3812m (12.507 ft) high in the Andes mountains, is on the border of Peru and Bolivia. Sunrise in Puno harbour from the bridge of the lake steamer Yavari, launched Christmas Day 1870. The larger steamer Ollanta alongside was launched in 1929.
