Colombia.   Coffee is one of the major exports and much of it is produced on a small scale by farmers with less than 6 hectares of land. The steep hillsides of the temperate Andes mountains are well suited to the mild arabica coffee. Here a woman is drying some of the family crop outside her home in the southern highlands.
