Bolivia.    The Salar of Uyuni - the dried salt lake of Uyuni - at an altitude of 3,600m is one of the wonders of the Andes mountains.  It is set in an inland drainage basin and water from the surrounding mountains sometimes covers the Salar. When the water evaporates it leaves patterns of raised salt on the surface.
