Bolivia.   Native American traditional weaving reaches a remarkable quality in some communities of the eastern Andes. One of the finest centres is the village of Candelaria in the Department of Chuquisaca where this funeral head covering was made. The tiny horses are reversible so are white on one side and seen as purple on the other.
