Belize City, capital of Belize.   A Swing Bridge built in Liverpool, UK and opened in 1923 crosses the Belize River at Haulover Creek, connecting the north and south sides of the city. Haulover Creek takes its name from the days when cattle were hauled by rope attached to their horns across the river.
