Tula, Mexico. A Toltec Atlante figure and pillar on the Temple of Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli. The Atlantes represented warriors. They have feathered headdresses, on the chest a breastplate in the form of a butterfly, and short skirts with a huge belt knotted in front.
