Teotihuacán, Mexico. The Temple of Quetzalcoatl (Templo de Quetzalcoatl) in the Citadel (La Ciudadela). The stairway is flanked with stylised heads of the plumed serpent Quetzalcoatl. Either side of the stairway the four levels are decorated with heads of Quetzalcoatl and the rain god Tlaloc.
