Teotihuacán, Mexico. The Avenue of the Dead (Calzada de los Muertos) runs south from the Plaza of the Moon (Plaza de la Luna) past the Pyramid of the Sun (Pirámide del Sol). The ceremonial centre of the city covered about 4sq km and the entire site about 23sq km.
