Teotihuacán, Mexico. The Pyramid of the Sun, (Pirámide del Sol), the largest pyramid on the site is composed of five terraced sections built of stone and clay. Some 2.5 million tonnes of stone and earth were used in the construction. Most of the building was completed before AD150.
