Bolivia.   Pre-Columbian El Fuerte or Fort of Samaipata. One of the curious carvings are some zigzag channels often believed to have been associated with divination ceremonies. Similar zigag channels can be seen on other Inca and pre-Inca sites. This picture was taken in the 1970s when the first extensive studies were made.
