Inca Ecuador
Ingapirca, near Cuenca is Ecuador's only major Inca site and few Inca artifacts have survived. A gold mask (the symbol of the Banco Central del Ecuador), sometimes described as Inca, is actually from the much earlier La Tolita coastal civilization .
