Coyolxauhqui the goddess of the moon, sister of Huitzilopochtli and daughter of Coatlicue. Her name derives from the rattles or coyolli painted on her face, while xauhqui means 'she who paints herself'. The diorite sculpture dates from the 14th-16th centuries.  Museo Nacional de Antropología Mexico City.
